Objectives

The Group was at an early stage in its development and rather than create an in-house department of back-office functions the decision was taken to outsource them.

The Group

International group at an early stage in its life-cycle with companies based in London and Johannesburg sponsored by large blue-chip companies.

Tasks

Two companies were incorporated, Bridgewey was asked to assist with the setting up of the back-office processes for the companies, to ensure that the companies were operational within a three-month timeframe. Bridgewey set-up bank accounts, finance systems, agreements with third parties, designed internal processes and procedures, undertook treasury management and aspects of compliance.

Results

The outsourced finance function has delivered to expectations and grown with the Group during the three years since it was established. In that time a further company has been incorporated, this time in the Asian region and is now operational.
