Restructuring of finance departments.

Task

Build a finance team that was fit for purpose and which would be capable of handling the various requests being asked of it. This meant relocating finance processes between regions, recruiting new staff members, the letting go of existing staff members, along with effecting changes in process and reporting methodologies.

Result

A slimmed down and more efficient finance team at the end of the process. The number of staff was reduced by four in total, yielding a cost saving of $350k per year.
