Turnaround of Manufacturing Group.

Task

Creditors were calling for the liquidation of the group in order to receive a percentage of what they were owed for product already delivered. Renegotiated terms and facilities with the creditors, changed the business cycle and process, reviewed the cost base and implemented changes, converted elements of the group onto a cash only basis and introduced a just in time ordering and stock control system.

Result

Within 1 year the group was successfully managing its cash flow and profitability was starting to return to acceptable limits.
